Angel Aaliyah Tiller

Aaliyah Jaden Tiller was born in the early summer morning, of June 15, 2004.

On October 12, 2008, Aaliyah was having a change in her behavior. About a week before, her eyes begun to look as if she was cross eyed and she became weaker and weaker on her left side. We just thought she had a stroke or even seizure, but nothing could prepare us for what the doctors were about to tell us.

Aaliyah was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor at the age of 4.   The cancer was spread into her brain stem, and unfortunately, the doctors could not remove. They told us that we only had a short-time with her and there was nothing they could do. All I heard was 9 to 15 months and everything else was a blur.  We did radiation and chemotherapy as treatments for it.  Aaliyah was very strong little girl.  She always smiled so much and played around with me and the nurses.  She would bring smile to everyone that crossed her path.

After 6 weeks of her treatment, the tumor did not change.  On December 1, 2009, our beautiful, sweet little Aaliyah received her Angel Wings.  

 She has 2 beautiful sisters, Kyla 7, and Savannah 4, who miss her very miss!  We all miss our sweet little girl. Aaliyah was blessed on this earth with great love from her momma, daddy, sisters and many many others. But, I do keep my faith and know the she is in the arms of Jesus.  And He is watching over her.  We take comfort in the thought of Aaliyah smiling down at us from the heavens above.
