Avery Spicer

Avery was diagnosed in July 2008 with a rare and aggressive form of leukemia (Infant ALL MLL+) with CNS involvement after presenting with Bell's Palsy.  Avery has just completed over a year of high-dose chemo, with one more year of treatment left.  It has truly been inspiring to watch Avery perservere through her treatment with her "spunky" personality and groovin' dancing shining through.  She brings joy wherever she goes, and no one can pass by in the hall without getting a "Hi" from Avery.

Avery has two sisters, Kaitlyn and Emily, and one brother, Ian.  Her mom and dad, Kelvin and Melissa, couldn't be more proud of their little Chemo Princess.
