Angel Isaac Krebs

Isaac is a three and a half year old little boy who was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia in June 2008. He endured five long months if intense inpatient chemo, most of which was spent in isolation. He returned home in November 2008 in remission. In January 2009 we discovered that the leukemia had relapsed, at which point we returned to Denver for more intense chemotherapy with the intention of Isaac receiving a bone marrow transplant. His transplant was scheduled in May 2009 and one week before he was to be admitted for the transplant we found out that the leukemia had once again relapsed. We tried a few more different chemotherapy protocols but when the leukemia continued to spread we were told to take him home and make as many memories as possible in the three to four weeks that we had left.

Isaac Krebs found his cure in heaven on November 3, 2009.  We love him so much, and will miss him.
