Mason was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (A.L.L.) in
May of 2005. He endured over 2 ½ of the 3 years of treatment before
leukemia cells were found in his spinal fluid indicating a Central Nervous
System (CNS) relapse. He began 104 weeks of very intense inpatient chemo and
cranial radiation. He is scheduled to complete the relapse therapy in
March of 2010. Mason has a smile that lights up the room. He
has always been so strong, never complaining and taking all of his treatments
in stride. He is in 1st grade now and is a wonderful big
brother to his sister Sydnie (5) and brother Cooper (2).
