Taylor was diagnosed with Nueroblastoma in August of 2008; she was just shy of 3 years old.  Over the past year, Taylor has undergone intensive treatments at the Children’s Hospital in Aurora, CO.  These treatments have included; 6 months of intensive chemo therapy, major surgery, two bone marrow transplants, radiation treatments, and currently 6 more months of an experimental antibody treatment.  Much of this time has been spent in the hospital, including three trips to the ICU.  Taylor has been through an incredible ordeal this year; however through it all her spirits have remained high.  In her own words, we are going to “kick that cancers behind!”.  And we are, Taylor’s last round of tests show her to be in complete remission, and holding strong!  Taylor will be turning 4 in October, and is looking forward to many more birthdays to come.  In spite of her ordeal this year, Taylor continues to thrive.  She has grown 3 inches over the past year, is now back in daycare learning her ABCs and numbers, and has such an amazing spirit and attitude she helps keep the entire family strong.
