Nathan was diagnosed with a juvenile pilocytic astrocytoma tumor in September 2008, had brain surgery to remove a large cyst, and has been undergoing chemo treatments since October.  Now his tumor has been reduced to half of what it was, but more cysts are growing, so we are keeping an eye on them, praying that he would not have to have a risky surgery to remove them. Throughout this year, Nathan has been very brave, very patient, and very, very sweet.
