NEEDED VOLUNTEER DUTIES
Advance Ticket Sales – This group helps sell tickets prior to the event. Often this includes, committing to sell a certain number of tickets to a church audience, school, co-workers, community, neighborhood, or friends.
On-Site Support
Ticket & Admissions (Night of Event) – At the night of the event you will help the attendee’s pickup their tickets from will-call, check-in and verify tickets printed at home, and maintain all admissions into the event.
Setup (Day Before, Day Of – May include physical labor) – Helping us setup stage, tables, chairs, décor, and all other aspects of the venue setup.
Tear-down (After the Event) – Helping us tear down décor, move out all supplies, and clean up the hotel area.
Security – Doormen, supervisors to oversee event and kids, and safety escorts.
Coat-Check – Helping people check their coats
Booth Support – Helping kids at bounce castles, booths, game stations, and more.
Paparazzi - Since this event is themed the Golden Miracle Awards, we are looking for people to hold cameras and take photos of attendees entering the event. You will be working with 10-20 other photographers. Digital rights restrictions may exist.
Offsite Support
Picking Up Items – We need help the week leading up to the event as well as the day of with picking up items donated to silent auction, décor, and other aspects.
Dropping Off Items – We need help in the moths and weeks leading up to the event to drop off flyers, brochures, marketing material and more.
Corporate Donations – We need help finding corporate sponsors and donations. We want companies to come to this event and support our Miracle Children. As part of this group you will help us locate and discuss the Miracle Party with these companies.
Private Donations – You will help the Miracle Party find and recruit private donors. This can include donation boxes, fundraising, online donations, and small contributions from family and friends.
PR & Marketing – You will help market the Miracle Party, build awareness for the foundation and party, and align media with the Miracle Party event.
Family Support – You will be assigned a small number of families as their liaison for the Miracle Party. You will help them setup transportation, parking, event needs, wheelchairs, hotel rooms, hairstylists, make-up people, and any other need they may have. You will be their personal support person leading up to and during the Miracle Party.
Partner Coordinators – You will help us build and establish relationships with other foundations helping children with cancer. You will help them get a booth assigned at the event, get them to list our event, and manage relations in all other areas related to the Miracle Party.
Bilingual (Spanish and English) Translators – We need print media translated from English to Spanish including all web materials, as well as translators for Hispanic families attending the event.
