Sheraton Denver Downtown Plaza Ballroom will Host the 2010 Miracle Party for Childhood Cancer on September 18, 2010
Pediatric cancer patients and families will be celebrating National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in Downtown Denver, Colorado on September 18, 2010. The Miracle Party Foundation, the presenter of the largest childhood cancer awareness party, is announcing a new venue for its annual Miracle Party event.
Open to everyone, the Miracle Party honors the children and families fighting Childhood Cancer. The Miracle Party gives them a chance to celebrate their fight, honor those who have lost their battle, and raise awareness for pediatric cancers.
The party will be held in the 28,000 square foot Plaza Ballroom within the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel at 1550 Court Place (16th Street & Court Place) at 6PM. The 2010 Miracle Party’s theme is the Golden Miracle Awards celebrating our true superstars and heroes! Miracle children and their families will get to walk down the gold carpet into one of Denver’s elite ballrooms and party the night away.
“It’s been a hard month in Childhood Cancer. What keeps me so positive is the difference we can make in a child’s life. The Miracle Party has always been the event of hope and miracles,” says Stacy Moriarty, Founder of the Miracle Party. “Imagine seeing the smiles of joy as the kids are welcomed into one of Denver’s most elite ballrooms surrounded by loving family, neighbors, and supporters – it’s time to honor our real hero’s!” Stacy’s daughter Kennedy is a survivor of Osteosarcoma (bone cancer) and has been a Miracle Child honored for two years in a row.
