Kayla was only 3 months old when she was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. She suffered major complications and even through chemotherapy and numerous surgeries, her cancer was too resistant and progressed to high risk, Stage 4 Neuroblastoma within months. Kayla's cancer started in her abdomen and liver and ultimately spread to her lungs, neck, bones and bone marrow. Kayla was a true gift to this world, but her cancer attacked without mercy and she passed away December 2nd, 2007, after her heart and lungs could no longer support her.
